Jade Faria is a singer, songwriter and music producer from São Paulo, raised in Vale do Paraíba. She released her debut EP "Solar", with all original songs, in 2022, being a project co-produced and co-arranged by her. Jade was featured in Revista Noize, a well recognized music magazine in Brazil, in the recommended artists section as one of the new names of the Brazilian popular music scene. One of her last releases "AYÚ", 2023, is a collaboration in production and arrangements with François Muleka.
Already having a bachelor in Performing Arts from University of São Paulo, Jade is currently enrolled at Berklee College of Music, continuing her studies in music with an emphasis on music production and sound engineering. With a deep desire to innovate and be creative while developing collaborativeness throughout her artistic trajectory, Jade brings various influences from the 70s popular Brazilian music to her productions while still having a contemporary sonority.
Her new release, "Retrato", produced and arranged by Jade and Luiza Brina, is deeply emotional with a strings arrangement and a viola caipira insert that brings the essence of Minas Gerais state, honoring the memory of her grandfather, whom she never knew, in a touching narrative of identity and roots. Jade's work is, from her very first release, in constant improvement, which becomes clear once you dive deep into her sonority, as it invites us to an unique connection through music.
