Eleanor Dubinsky is a New York City based vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist composing songs in English, French and Spanish. Her music is a cross-pollination of singer-songwriter, American jazz, Latin and Cape Verdean rhythmic traditions. Always moving towards connecting art and social change, Eleanor has been praised for her "silky, sultry voice." Her songs have been featured on MTV, Lifetime, Animal Planet, ads for American Express and NPR. Eleanor has released two CDs to date, Touch The Sky and Listen To The Music, and is currently preparing a new CD which she will record in Lisbon in December 2016. This new release is co-produced by Eleanor, Rolando Semedo (Paulo Flores, Sara Tavares) and Frank Ponzio. In 2015 Eleanor toured the East Coast USA with the Luis Caracol Trio (Portugal/Brazil/Angola) and she regularly collaborates with notable NYC based jazz musicians. She has also enjoyed recent collaborationgs with songwriter David Aguilar (Mexico) and Dino D'Santiago (Portugal/Cape Verde).
