El Niño Alcalino & The Chuskers
A Majorcan band formed by 7 musicians that play their own repertoire based on the mixture of different genres coming from black music.
El Niño Alcalino and The Chuskers is a band that explores the Negroid sounds in all its breadth, it is a musical journey through
contemporary Afroamerican music.
In their two releases "Descartes" (2012)
and "Black music for the new generation" (2015) you can find clear reminiscences of latin soul, the New Orleans funk, disco music, afrobeat or acid jazz.
But above all it is a band of songs and live shows, with a verypersonal style and open to large doses of improvisation and freedom on
stage, where the synergy established among the musicians unleashes all kinds of musical delusions.
