Aida Dao was destined to sing, as an omen had predicted to her mother, on the day of her birth.
Granddaughter of a mask dancer and daughter of a mother who loved the Arts, she received her dose of music lulled by jazz and blues music, and French songs.
After training in song, theater and traditional dance, she has been taking part in theatrical productions and singing as backing vocalist for renowned West African musicians.
Aida has just released her first single, DOUNIA, which will be soon distributed on all digital platforms by Electro Mandingo Records.
