Because we are web-based, we encourage contributors from all around the world to write their own culture up as we want to get away from a eurocentric view of 'other' cultures -- for this reason we prefer the term Global Music Culture to 'world music'. Our readership is about 30,000 per month and we have been on the web since 1995.
