Brass orchestra "Bakija Bakic" led by Ekrem Mamutovic from Vranje, Southern Serbia. This is one of the most awarded Roma brass bands from South Serbia. They play traditional Serbian Roma brass music at many Roma and world music festivals in Serbia and beyond since '60. They have won the Best Brass Band prize at the Vlasinsko Leto summer festival in Surdulica, south Serbia, and at the Sabor Trubaca Guca (brass band festival in Guca, Serbia) many times. The first time they performed in Guca under the name "Brass Band Bakija Bakic" was in 2007 and the band was led by Ekrem Mamutovic. ". In 2008 they got the prize in Guca for the most authentic performance and the Golden Apple award for best orchestra with the songs Walk "Zemi zemi me" and "Ekremov cocek". In 2009 at Vlasinskok leto, at qualifications for Guca festival, they got a prize for the best performance of "Cocek" song (traditional Serbian song) and they directly got the chance to perform at Guca competition. They got the prize of best orchestra. In both, 2010 and 2011, they got again the best awards at Vlaisnsko leto and Guca festivals.
