Conductor & Percussion Soloist Chen Zimbalista is the Founder and Music Director of Voice of Peace (VoP) and the Zimbalista Music Factory (a non-profit organization).
Mr. Zimbalista regularly collaborates with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra (JSO) and other leading orchestras in Israel. He has conducted notable concert series such as “Classical Revolution” and “Young Symphony.”
As a percussion and marimba artist, Mr. Zimbalista has dazzled audiences around the world with an enchanting array of rhythmic sounds that he cajoles from more than forty instruments, played with his lightening quick hands, some of them at the same time. His music - a euphonious blend of pulses and beats - defies classification. A true feast for the senses, his programs are taken from the classical, jazz, and ethnic repertoire.
The Voice of Peace
The Voice of Peace (VoP) is an international, multicultural project by the Zimbalista Music Factory. Its mission is to bring together people from different cultures and religions through concerts and musical activities around the world.
The Music Factory also promotes emerging talent by connecting top professionals with young musicians from diverse and underserved backgrounds, with a focus on Palestinian and Israeli communities.
The importance of this initiative is highly evident these days, as the current war and global crises deepen cultural divides, making projects like VoP vital in fostering understanding and unity.
Chen Zimbalista is expanding the project beyond Israel, believing it is crucial to amplify new voices in times of conflict. VoP aims to create a unique platform where people of all backgrounds can connect and express themselves through music.
The Voice of Peace held its debut concert at the Austrian Parliament and is now planning to travel across Europe, bringing communities together through its intergenerational musical performances.

Ein internationales multikulturelles Projekt der „Zimbalista Music Factory“
„The Voice of Peace“ (VoP) verbindet Menschen verschiedener Kulturen und Religionen durch
Konzerte und musikalische Aktivitäten. Professionelle Spitzenmusiker spielen gemeinsam mit
jungen Musikern aus der Peripherie und Hochrisikogebieten, wobei der Fokus im Moment auf
den palästinensischen und israelischen Gemeinschaften liegt.
Heute erhält diese Initiative aufgrund des aktuellen Krieges sowie wiederkehrender Krisen
weltweit, die die Kluft zwischen unseren Kulturen und Menschen vertiefen, eine größere
Bedeutung. Weltweite Bedeutung.
Chen Zimbalista, Musikdirektor von „VoP“ und der „Zimbalista Music Factory“ plant, das Projekt
über die Grenzen Israels hinaus zu erweitern.
Wir glauben, dass es in solchen Zeiten der Kontroverse von besonderer Bedeutung ist, eine
neue Stimme erklingen zu lassen. Wir möchten eine musikalische Plattform schaffen, die junge
Menschen und Erwachsene unabhängig von ihrer Identität erreicht und einen Weg bietet,
verschiedene Kulturen und Religionen miteinander zu verbinden.
Musiker aus verschiedenen Kulturen und Religionen arbeiten als Einheit zusammen und
