Bastian Jütte, who is living in Munich, was born in 1973. First he studied two years at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich before he got his diploma in Jazz-drums at the University of Music and Performing Arts Mannheim.

He won several prizes including the exceptional price of the Gasteig development association in Munich and the “New German Jazzprice 2010” with the “Tim Allhoff Trio”. He collaborated in recordings and had engagements with Tony Lakatos, Adrian Mears, Roman Schwaller, Maria Schneider, Hugo Siegmeth, Till Martin, Dusko Goykovich, Rudi Mahal, Johannes Enders, Marina Trost, Christian Elsässer, Vincent Herring, Max Grosch amongst others, as well as productions with the Bavarian and Hessian broadcasting service. He played at several festivals such as in Burghausen, Den Haag, Montreux, Yokohama, “La Vilette de Paris”, “North Sea Festival”, “Jazz at the Donau”, “Jazz Promenade”, “European Jazztival” (Schloss Elmau), “Alpen Jazz Festival”. He performs with different formations like the “Martin Auer Quintett”, the band “Espexp” or the “Jazz Baltica Ensemble” directed by Johannes Enders.

Already in 2007 Bastian Jütte released his own Indiepop-CD “bastian - not in this game”, 2011 follows his new album “Inside”. He is teaching Jazz-drums at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich and drums and aural training at the vocational school for Jazz Rock Pop in Munich.
