Martina Eisenreich
(*1981) was admitted to the Munich University of Music and
Performing Arts as a student at the young age of 15. There, and
later at the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, she completed
her studies in classical composition, film score and sound
design. Besides her remarkable carreer as one of the most
sought-after creative violinists with several album releases and
live shows with her various ensembles, Martina received
numerous commissions to complete works for cinema,
television, theatre and radio plays. A number of these projects
were sponsored by grants received through prizes or awards.
The Film NIMMERMEER ("Nevermore") was honoured at the
Acadamy of Motion Picture Arts and Science's 34th Annual
Student Academy Award as recipient of the Honorary Foreign
Film Award 2007. Recently, GLM Music has started to release a
series of the young composer's most beautiful fim scores, and
there are several violin works, where she plays not only her
favourite music but also own works: WUNDERGEIGE (The
Magic Violin, 2009) and VIOLIN TALES (2011).
