months The Goethe-Institut is the cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany with a global reach.
It promotes knowledge of the German language abroad and foster international cultural cooperation. It conveys a comprehensive image of Germany by providing information about cultural, social and political life in Germany. Thecultural and educational programmes encourage intercultural dialogue and enable cultural involvement. They strengthen the development of structures in civil society and foster worldwide mobility.

The Goethe-Institut Sénégal has been very active in the music field and more genrally the cultural and creative secteor over the last years with : training professionals from the industry with a nine months program, setting-up 2 Womex Academy with 10 young professionnals and recently the launch of the project Les Voix de la Terre to dynamise the cultural scene in Senegal outside of Dakar. Les Voix de la Terre is looking for new talents all over the country thanks to the initiative Sunu Talents (Our Talents in wolof)
