An artist from Alentejo and cultural ambassador of Reguengos de Monsaraz has just returned from Cuba, where he recorded his innovative new project "Fado in Havana." This groundbreaking work features renowned Cuban double bassist and producer Gastón Joya, known for his collaborations with the Buena Vista Social Club and Omara Portuondo.
Featuring guest appearances by Omara Portuondo and Barbarito Torres the project also includes live performances with the Gastón Joya Quintet showcasing Fado in Cuban rhythms like Bolero and son montuno.
