Alexandre Cavaliere was born in 1985 near Mons in Belgium. Coming from a family of musicians, he grew up surrounded by instruments as toys. Very early on, little Alexandre learned the rhythm by holding the snare drum of his father's orchestra. At the age of 8 he already regularly played the piano, the drums and of course the violin. It is in learning this last instrument that Alexandre will best express his sense of rhythm, his improvisational qualities and his great musical sensitivity. Cradled by the melodies of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli, swing imposes itself on Alexandre as musical evidence.
