Blessed with extraordinary creativity, Maria deserted the orchestra pit after studying the harp, piano and composition in Mannheim to perform her own repertoire with a group in Europe, Russia and the US.

Awarded the "music award for young song-poets" by the Hanns-Seidl-Stiftung and Bayerischer Rundfunk (German radio) in 2005, her international renown spread by radio and television. Chosen to represent Belgium's French-speaking community in 2008 at the universal exhibition in Saragossa, she created "Water Celebration" for choir, narrator and a jazz ensemble.

Now located in Saint-Gilles (Brussels), she created the "Harp Center Brussels", where she shares her passion for her instrument and water, which remains a prime source of her inspiration.
