insulada

inSulada is a record label founded in 2014 which worked with rhythms of Cape
Verdean music from a variety of roots but with musical and conceptual innovation
alternatives.
It also works with communication teams in projects and festivals such as the Kriol
Jazz Festival
inSulada also works on behalf of artists, in Cape Verde, such as Mario Lucio,
Zubikilla Spencer and Natty Martins, and insists on bridging the gap between new
trends in Cape Verdean music performance across the world, such as Danae
Estrela, Cachupa Psicadelica Acacia Maior, Kriol, and Rubera Roots
InSulada also work in conceptual shows, artistically created at different themes,
with institutions such as the UN, Amílcar Cabral Foundation, Cultural Centers and
Municipal Councils
For this edition we brought the inSouland collective, chosen by Procultura – EU,
to represent Cabo Verde, trying to create a network of labels, with which we
identify musically and work in networks that depart from Cape Verde to the world,
with a view to exchanges and intimate and alternative festivals, by making the
collective increasingly robust. A pure network
