Toot Ard
The wonderful band of young musicians from the Ramat HaGolan in Northern (occupied) Israel, have finished their first CD... Tootard like to call their music Mountain Reggae. A wonderful mixture of Reggae and local traditional music with influences from the jazz and funk world.
Toot Ard are outsiders in the Israel Music scene as their background is Druze and not Jewish, and are a major success in the local Arab/Palestinian scene both in Israel and in the occupied West Bank-or more correctly; Palestine. Check out some of the new trx at www.jamaa.in
