James Asher has produced several successful worldbeat albums including Globalarium,
Tigers of the Raj, Tigers of the Remix,
Raising the Rhythms,Colors of Trance, Drums on Fire and Shaman Drums.
Best known internationally for Feet in the Soil,
a bestseller(Sales at 160,000 plus)
James is a drummer and keyboard player,
and enjoys blending hightech groove options
with real musicianship to produce compelling results. With an audio engineering background
his productions are characterised by crystal
clear and well defined sound.
American record company releases include
Music West, Silverwave, New Earth, New World,
Springhill and Oreade.

He has also written over twenty albums for music libraries including `Global Reach` for One Music
and `Global Spice` for Abaco.

He also produces original video. Filmed in high
definition his current project is the Italian
dancer Francesca Miceli Lillith, who combines
diverse world cultures including Egypt and India.
Creating, stylising and editing these videos
is aimed for a DVD release in 2008. An earlier video he made of a dancer from Thailand was included in the Opus Arte DVD project about the sacred aspects of dance - Dances of Ecstasy.

James seeks performance opporturtunities with his new band Pebbledash for which James play drums,
Rod Pooley keyboards, Tom Askaroff guitar and on vocals Ummahesh Vinayakaram, and Phil Benham.

He also seeks international interest in a newly
completed album with Indian singing virtuoso
Ummahesh Vinayakaram, son of the famous ghatam
player Vikkhu Vinayakaram from John Mclaughlin`s
Shakti. This album is titled `Bravado Masala`.
