Born in 1984 in Senegal, Cissé Diamba Kanouté alias Mamy Kanouté, singer with the voice of blues, was revealed by Baaba Maal who chose her at the age of 14, to participate in the album "In Search of the Lost Riddim "(1998) by Jamaican-born American Ernest Ranglin.
