Kosta Kostov is not a nickname! Born in the Bulgarian Black Sea coast he grew up with the unique Balkan way of celebrating... Moving to Germany didn't stop his passionate search for the best rhythms and melodies from all over the globe. Allways with the watchout for fusion between roots and eclectic electronics, he travells and produces music & parties.

Mastermind and resident "machinista" of the Balkan Express, the turbulent monthly party since 2004 in Cologne club Gebäude 9. With his peoject BxPsoundsistema Kosta Kostov has focused on the blend between traditional balkan & mediterran melodies & rhythyms and electronics. He works continually with producers, djs, musicians & singers, who he meet on his journeys. Kosta Kostov is also a passionate cook - with his project "Vorkosta" (4 times a week since 2016 on German public radio COSMO) and "KKostbar" (Youtube) he explores more the coection between music making and cooking...
