REBEL BABEL FILM ORCHESTRA:

Orchestra became famous in Poland and abroad, creating concerts-spectacles and arrangements at the highest musical level. The concerts of RBFO were co-created by prestigious artists of the Polish scene: Krzysztof Herdzin, Maciej Obara, Ania Rusowicz, Irek Wojtczak, Pawbeats, Małgorzata Kożuchowska, Maria Sadowska and many others, performing the repertoire of both outstanding film music creators, such as Krzysztof Komeda, Bronisław Kaper and Jan A.P. Kaczmarek. For many years, the orchestra has been traveling around the country and the world presenting special music projects, such as 100 years of Polish Film Music or Polish Film Composers in Hollywood.

REBEL BABEL ENSEMBLE:
a unique international and multilingual orchestra combining traditional brass bands from different regions of Europe with professional hip hop, funk and folk musicians – soon to be literally the biggest band on the continent. It is an experimental and innovative project whose idea is to present the sound and language individuality of Europe and send positive vibes through the vibrations of live instruments by merging professionals with amateurs at concerts, happenings and flash mobs.
During Rebel Babel’s performances, the stage is shared by bands of several dozen brass musicians from different countries and rappers who rhyme their lyrics in different languages. The concerts are extremely powerful as well as interactive since they involve the audience and allow to perform together with the use of amateur instruments.
Sometimes they play for the European Cup and perform a symphony with a brass band and thousands of stadium horns, or give performances involving car horns at road junction in the center of San Francisco or Madrid. Sometimes they organize a brass band bike parade or a performance conducted by the escalator of Barcelona Metro.
They can also give a concert for 300 people and a foot parade, or play at a big gala concert with some of the most interesting European rap artists (PROMOE “LOOPTROOP”, RAPSUSKLEI, WOYZA, L.U.C, GRUBSON, JOKA “KALIBER 44”) performed on stages of the most prestigious Polish festivals such as Open’er, Stage Songs Review and Gdansk Carries Music (GdańskDźwigaMuzę) and abroad (Rudolstadt Festival, Pohoda Festival, BAM Barcelona).
