Arnaud Van Lancker Quartet is a four-piece band influenced by jazz, classical and world music, having played for almost twenty years intimist and poetic original compositions.
The four musicians explore one concept for each musical piece, whose harmonies can cradle as well as unsettle the audience.
Their repertoire, inspired by “Eastern” music, is elaborated by the accordionist Arnaud van Lancker’s 55 years of musical practice and multiple artistic encounters : David Krakauer, Taraf des Haïdouks, Titi Robin, Mirella Giardelli…
Their latest record, “Chez Leyou” is unique musical object, a real impressionist painting, difficult to describe : you first have to hear and see it.
