Founded in 2002 by students of Casablanca's fine arts school, DARGA represents a new wave of world Maghribian music. The band's main objective is to preserve the Moroccan music patrimony while being open to all music genres in the world. DARGA tends to be the spokesperson of Maghribian youth and defines itself as a group loving peace and tolerance. DARGA will not miss the chance to make the public vibrate with their music combining gnawa and reggae as well as other African and world music styles.
