Olga Roman is a Spanish singer songwriter who lived in Boston from 1985 to 1993. In 1988 she put together The Olga Roman Quartet with pianist Alain Mallet, bassist Lionel Girardeau and drummer Ben Wittman, playing a Brazilian-Jazz repertoire and performing in the New England area and several Jazz Festivals such as The Montreal Jazz Festival, The Quebec Jazz Festival, The Boston Globe Jazz Festival to name a few. They also performed at many life radio shows at WGBH, WERS,... and local TV programs.

Back in Spain she has been working with famous singer songwriter Joaquin Sabina, recording in his CDs and touring Spain and Latinamerica.

In 2001 she released her first solo album "Vueltas y vueltas", a very intimate collection of personal songs written by herself with a brazilian jazzy flavor, produced by Patrick Goraguer and Lucio Godoy.

"Olga Roman 2" (2005) is her second CD. This new work shows us a more mature singer and composer. Produced by herself and Dario Eskenazi and the colaboration of Alain Mallet in a couple of songs, Olga Roman 2 is a very appealing intimate
CD.
