LAS MIGAS are Marta Robles, Isabelle Laudenbach, Lisa Bause and Alba Carmona, two guitars, a
violin, a cajon and a voice that offer a classical and sweet flamenco with emotion.
They try out and go further the flamenco language from tradition, which is their first source of inspiration.
And from these roots, they grow with what each of them carries in their suitcases: Marta, her flamenco
background and the classic guitar; Lisa, the circus music, varietes and tango; Isabelle, the flamenco
guitar; and Alba, fado, jazz and habaneras. With very different origins (Sevilla, Berlinand the French
Brittany) and having their base in Barcelona, they build this strong, fresh and lively
universe. Their music breaths this mixture.
They have played in some of the most important stages in Spain and have toured around Italy The
Netherlands, Hungary Bulgaria, France, and Tunes. Recently they've written the original sound track of
the play 'Some voices' and have taken part in a very well-known charitable record coordinated by the
Catalan television.
