La Orquesta del Viento is the band led by Chilean guitarist and composer Raimundo Santander. Along with a varied crew of musicians it has shaped a distinctive instrumental sound that combines elements of jazz and Chilean, Mapuche and Andean folklores.
The live show makes a difference not only in music, the brilliant illustrator Sol Diaz, behind her computer and tablet, creates in real time a series of illustrations for each composition that are displayed colorfully on stage. The result is a complete piece of art, a magic show that audiences enjoy and appreciate transversely.
After several tours in Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Cuba and Russia, and the recording of his third album in New York, Raimundo Santander presents Hombre al Sur, his new work with La Orquesta del Viento.
