Rael began his musical journey in 2000 with the collective Pentágono and, in 2012, he launched himself as a solo artist with Laboratório Fantasma. He is internationally recognized and received two Latin Grammy nominations, as well as an award in the "Best Singer" category in 2017. He recently presented the series “Música Preta Brasileira” on one of the highest-rated television programs in Brazil.
