It`s a pleasure to finally invite you back again to one of Oslo longest living clubconcepts - Balkan Beat Party Oslo! It`s been four months since last time we passionately danced together and went for summer holidays and made new friends abroad. And for the BBP family it was a week we won`t forget as we contributed on Bjonko Chalgija orkestras -Nordic Balkan Connection Tour in Macedonia for thousands of people!
The third band contributing on this tour, are the world`s coolest Finnish guys - Jaakko Laitinen & Väärä Raha , and they`re so amazingly stylish, funky and opaliscious and hardcore gypsyfans - that it is time to let them kick off our first BBP this season at John Dee!

About the liveact:
Jaakko Laitinen & Väärä Raha is a special cocktail of ingredients like Balkan Gypsy grooves, Russian Romances and oldschool Finnish tango and humppa. All bandmembers are originally from Lapland, old friends from way back, nowadays living in Helsinki.
Jaakko Laitinen & Väärä Raha has a reputation of FInland's best live act and are spreading the word with approximately 80 gigs a year. They tour Finland, Baltia, Scandinavia, Germany, Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan and Macedonia.
Their hird album will be released in the Autumn 2013, hopefully in November. First two albums have received lots of praise and good reviews from the critic. First album gave them a radio hit in Finland and the second one was chosen to be the Finnish Folk Music Album of the year 2012, and also the Finnish Indie-scene rewarded the band the Aholaita-Femma award for their work in updating traditional elements to a modern day music.
