Realleza is the artistic name of Rebeca Elen, rapper, composer, singer and activist who lives in Sol Nascente-Brasilia, the biggest horizontal favela in Latin America. As a child and a teenager, she suffered discrimination because of her deep black color, which she only came to understand through RAP music and Hip Hop culture, transforming her relationship with herself and with the world. Assuming her color, her distinctive traces, Realleza is born, summoning on the stage a matriarchal black-skinned goddess. Her empowered sensuality with flawless rhymes and flows has elevated Realleza into a Diva in an impressive short time: Being a solo artist since 2017, these last 3 years have been filled with presentations at large festivals throughout Brazil, as Latinidades (2017), Brasilia's Anniversary (2018), Book's Biennial Fair - Brasília, (2018) and CoMA- Brasília(2019), with songs from her release EP, "Afrontosa" (Affront), officially released in 2019.
Outside of the stages and spotlights, Rebeca Elen is now completing her Law graduation, with a study that addresses the capacity of generating citizenship and fundamental rights in peripheral communities through cultural and artistic activities, specially those related to the Hip Hop culture.
