Musician, singer and songwriter, Cecile was born at the west end of Brittany. This is where she discovered the celtic harp, as a teenager. Since then, she has kept a strong link with her native region - an everlasting source of creativity. Inspired by Celtic traditional music from Brittany and abroad, she discovers composition, mainly focused on harp and vocals.
Cecile is inspired by tales, ancient melodies and fairy moods which are the bases of her musical world.

Performing alone, with her harp, she started singing in the streets and pubs, before meeting the musicians who would perform with her for many years, on stage and on recordings, creating a folk, both acoustic and modern atmosphere.
Her first self-produced records made her reach a wider audience, while she refined the arrangements and the records' productions. Thanks to many gigs and festivals, she travelled through Europe and from Asia to the USA.
In 2008, the release of the album "Songbook vol.2" - a more accomplished record gathered more attention from the audience and also from the head producer of the famous Japanese animation Ghibli Studio. In 2010 she wrote and recorded the original soundtrack for the movie "Arrietty", which was a big success in Japan and in other countries. This soundtrack earned the "Soundtrack Album of the year" award and a "Golden Disc Award" in Japan.

Today, she just recorded his last CD "Vagabonde" (her 6th album) with Polydor-Universal ans she's touring all over the world.
