The talented Azorean singer and songwriter Sara Cruz continues to unveil her highly anticipated debut album with the release of her new single “Plot Holes,” which is out today, May 24th.
The previously released songs “Day or Two,” “Grass Is Greener,” and “The Show” already hinted at a folk-pop aesthetic with an intimate and confessional tone, which “Plot Holes” now confirms. Produced in collaboration with musician and producer Cristóvam, the song celebrates the courage to embrace the future without fear and hesitation. With an engaging melody and inspiring lyrics, “Plot Holes,” delivered in Sara Cruz’s delicate voice, shows us how the simplicity of songs can be even more moving.
Sara Cruz was a FNAC New Talent in 2019, winner of the “NiT New Talent” contest, participated in the documentary “House of Talents” promoted by Yamaha Music Europe, and recently was part of the 28th OuTonalidades program’s showcase series. On August 23, Sara Cruz will perform at the 40th Maré de Agosto Festival, which takes place at Praia Formosa, in Santa Maria, Azores.
