RADIANTE mixes Electronic Music with Tropical, Pacific and Latin American waves proposing a hypnotic, rhythmic and elegant Electro Folklore sound. His founder is ARTURO BRAHIM, producer and composer in programming, guitar and synthesizers + EKA GORDOM Colombian Electro - Folklore singer, and invited artists Eryen Korath in Vocals and Marimba, and Larry Ararat in marimba and latin percussion!
RADIANTE arises from the fusion of two worlds and a fortunate encounter. On one hand Arturo Brahim, Musician, Composer and Music Producer of his label Discos Probeta focused on the different expressions of electronic music, who in his quest as a producer launches himself in the pursuit of the sounds of the Colombian Pacific music and Salsa Caleña, residing in Cali, Colombia, he was able to approach to these rhythms thanks to Festivals such as Petronio Alvarez, La Feria de Cali, World Salsa Contest and Día del Pacífico.
On the other hand, Eka the soul of the band, was born in Soledad Atlantico among Cumbia, bullerengue, champeta rhythms and Carnaval de Barranquilla. She carries in her DNA all the Caribbean feeling loaded with flavour, joy and freedom. she is the voice of Caribbean´s Colombian folklore" representing her country in the world since in 2003 with multiple music projects". Singer, musician, dancer and former vocalist of the avant-garde and memorable British-Colombian group Sidestepper with great experience touring the World,magical on stage, Eka Gordom is called The Queen of Electro-Folklore.
RADIANTE has participated in Fête de la Musique Fest,Bogota Music Market (BoMM), Latin Alternative Music Conference NYC, Hermoso Ruido Festival,Selina Music Market, and achieved the # 1 of the Top 100 and Top 20 Viva Colombia with their single “Quisiera”. Recently they won Massive Act´s California Dreaming Tour 2019 in Silicon Valley, USA. They are currently promoting Cadencia Natural, an album loaded with Deep Folclor, Ethnnical Techno and Tropical Dub sounds. The singles Quisiera, Mar de Leva, Camino del Sol and Cadencia Natural stand out.
RADIANTE ,influenced by the tropical global electronic sound and inspired by artists such as Quantic,Bomba Estéreo,Nicola Cruz and Daniel Haaksman released Cadencia Natural(LP) and Tropical Wave(EP)under his label Discos Probeta showing a refreshing new fusion sound.
