LOV / RECS

LOV/RECS is an independent label founded in the late 2009 by legendary electronic musician Pascal Languirand (Trans-X), with partners and headquarters in colorful Mexico City.



Our first release (May/2010) is Panoptica Orchestra, founded by Roberto Mendoza aka Panoptica (Certificate 18/Domino UK) former front man for Nortec Collective (Palm Pictures and Nacional Records USA), the album debut is fast becoming an instant classic in the Mexican musical scene by crossing over from the regional/folk and alternative scene to the pop medium via singles like “Complejo de amor” reaching the top ten on MTV Latin-American and “Pico Selector” as the music selected for a TV football campaign for Orange Telecommunications in Europe, Asia and Africa who was directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu (Amores Perros, 21 grams, Babel).



LOV RECS is a different label because our releases are only on Vinyl with a digital download and Exclusive Extras, such as remixes, versions, posters, t-shirts among other goodies. The LOV RECS group came from the ranks of big transnational label companies like EMI Mexico, Sony BMG, Warner Mexico and Universal Music Publishing; that’s the main reason that we have a large experience in different areas such as Management, Publishing and of course as a Record Label.
