"Lyra" is a unique group who's music is an original fusion of a variety of musical styles inspired by folk music from different periods and places. We call it folk inspired fusion. In the ensemble's pieces one can find shades of ethnic, Latin, African, Baroque, Country music and more, all intertwined in Lyra's unique, original style. All the ensemble's members are involved in the creative process resulting in a personal and moving musical journey.
