Headquartered in the vicinity Budapest, MAGOS conveys the purest traditional tones of Hungarian folk music every time on stage, proving the ageless relevance and energizing vibes of unmodified, authentic string tunes. Their line-up is an illustrious assortment of the most skilled young revival folk musicians of their generations, including multiply awarded fiddlers, musician siblings with Transylvanian roots, and two veteran stagers of the late Buda Folk Band, one of Hungary's most succesful World Music bands ever. Similarly to the mainstream of the Hungarian revival, their main focus is the Hungarian Táncház Movement's spiritual heartland Transylvania, where they acquired the musicians' profession from the finest village masters, and where they still improve their skills, fieldwork, research and perform for decades.
In 2018 they released their debut album ,Forgatós’.
