Pianist, composer and arranger, graduated by Magda Tagliaferro’s School, in Nellie Braga and Zulmira Elias Jose’s class, hás been active in recordings of artists like : Pery Ribeiro, Leny Andrade, Raul de Souza, Hector Costita. Besides bands like Sax ver Sax, Toshiko Akyoshi e Lew Tabackin Band. Hás perfomed at classical concerts and Instrumental shows.
Initiated his musical studies with his uncles, amog them the renowed pianist, composer and conductor Dom Salvador, who is living in New York for the past 30 years.
As member of “Jazz in 4” group, recorded 2 Cds in the company of Roney Stella (1rst trombone of São Paulo City Sinphonic Orchestra), Evaldo Guedes (acoustic and electric bass) and Edu Ribeiro (drums and percussion).
Studied Harmony and Counterpoint with Oswaldo Lacerda and contemporary music with Hans-Joachin Koelreutter.
Has launched his most recent CD”PianoDuo) with pianist Eva Gomyde, playing Dom Salvador, Jobim and Egberto Gismonti, as well as their own compositions, in the second semester of 2005, through Maritaca Label.
