ELETTRO MASCARIMIRI is a LIVE & Dj SET by Claudio "Cavallo" Giagnotti of Mascarimirì, where Salento music changes its path. From music for traditional parties, which through the DJ set goes to the clubs of the electro world and much more innovative events, using and drawing inspiration from the concept of the dance hall and the Sound System as a language for dancing. And so the symbolic circle created by the traditional round of the Tamburreddhu Salentino (Salento frame drum) is connected in a modern ritual with the circle of vinyl and CD.
In 2021 the album "Elettro Mascarimiri - Music for Dancing" is released - an entire album of music created for dancing during parties and live DJ performances - with the aim of dancing freely - "Dance freely" - as the title of the first says single.
The live of Elettro Mascarimiri is an audio-visual experience, born from the union of the unmistakable sound created by Claudio Cavallo and the custom-built visual by Kasia "Kashu Kurdziel", Polish photographer artist, who takes us on a journey through dances of the world, to underline even more the universal idea of the album of a music to dance on all latitudes - music for dancing. All this to create an original project but with a universal soul that involves audiences from all over the world thanks to its ancectral rhythms wisely combined with modern sound.
A LIVE & Dj SET where Claudio Cavallo often shares the stage with musicians from the Mediterranean area to give an extra vibe to the performance, an original and unique show that involves everybody!
