A project that starts from Carpino's sonnets, and from their authors and performers, the wonderful Cantori who have given us so much poetry. From here starts a journey that passes through the sharp phrases of Matteo Salvatore, another great storyteller, who told about the hunger, misery and exploitation of laborers, as well as love stories full of insights from the South. Tradition, sometimes landing on islands of modern-day music, which is its daughter. To bring their contributions, musicians who have been following this kind of routes for years, including some young people from the Gargano. Chi sonä and cantä no nmòrë majï, (who plays and sings never die) and contributes to keeping Music and Tradition alive. (Antonio Pizzarelli e Guido Sodo)
Riccardo Tesi collaborated at the project tooking part in some of the concerts and recording in the Cd, released by Battentë Sound Records, and also the neapolitan singer and drummer Nando Citarella was featured in some concerts of the summer tour 2023.
This is a special project of Carpino in Folk Festival 2021, was invited in Carpino Folk Festival 2021 and 2023, to Notte della Taranta Festival 2023, in Gezzinvilla (Torremaggiore), Tutto il mondo è un incanto (Bologna estate 2023), Porta Pratello Summer Ground Festival 2023 and others.
