Boago Fenju

Boago Fenju is a multi-award-winning recording artist, singer, songwriter, and media personality from Gaborone, Botswana. Since launching her professional music career in 2019 (formerly under the name Boago Ramontsho) then, she has established herself as a dynamic force in the entertainment industry, with a career that spans music, television, radio, voice coaching, and personal development.

Renowned for her powerful voice and inspirational message, Boago has released several acclaimed projects, including her live album It’s Gonna Be Alright (2019) and studio albums Marabi (2022) and Eliora (2024). Her music has earned her widespread recognition, including major accolades such as Best Author/Songwriter at the African Music Academy Awards (France, 2025) and multiple wins at the Gospel Music Awards and BOMU Awards. Across her career, she has received over 39 nominations from six awarding bodies, including international recognition from the Crown Gospel Music Awards (South Africa) and CLIMA Awards (Nigeria).

Boago has graced numerous prestigious stages, performing alongside celebrated gospel artists from across Southern Africa and beyond. Her appearances include major concerts, national events, and award ceremonies, as well as high-profile cultural showcases such as Fashion Without Borders and Thari ya Sechaba Jazz Concerts. She has also ministered extensively through church tours and worship experiences, further solidifying her impact in the gospel and jazz space.

Beyond music, Boago is a passionate mental health and personal development advocate with over seven years of coaching experience. She hosts empowerment seminars under the theme Mindset Change, equipping individuals with practical tools for growth and healing. Her advocacy extends to radio, where she has addressed critical social issues such as gender-based violence, and to public speaking platforms including Junior Chamber International (JCI) events.
Her versatility extends into broadcasting, where she has appeared on television programs such as Honour The Legend and Botswana Legends on BTV, and hosted gospel shows like Psalms and Hymns. As a voice-over artist, she has worked with national institutions, lending her voice to major campaigns and advertisements.
