Band Black Papa Formed in 2013, BBP appeared as a dissemination and expression channel of the funk
and black culture in Brazil. Maid in 2013, BBP appeared as a popularization channel and the sound is unique, a mix of funk, rock and groove. The group defines itself as punk / funk, a nonexistent word in the middle of musical criticism.
The Banda Black Papa overflows funk in its opening EP Suor (sweat). In its five tracks, the opening album of Banda Black Papa (BBP) overflows
funk and groove with lyrics addressing various themes, linked by a critical vision of the world. The title track of the EP mixes funk and P-Funk and extol sweat, a clear invitation to spontaneous dance, free from social
conventions.
