Cacala Carvalho is a Brazilian artist born in Rio de Janeiro. The singer, songwriter and acoustic guitarist is now preparing her new album. Her new album clearly shows her psychedelic bossa style influenced by jazz rock' n 'roll.
Cacala is part of the well-known and award-winning samba group Arranco de Varsóvia, of the female vocal trio Folia de 3, and of the vocal group Flor do Canto (as musical director and conductor). Her discography counts eight CDs and one DVD, among solo and group albums.
Currently Cacala is showing her last album Cada tempo em seu lugar on stages in Brazil.
This abum is a tribute to the great Brazilian composer Gilberto Gil, recorded in duo with the pianist João Braga, and was launched in Brazil in 2012, by Mills Records.
