Paula Lima, with her singular voice, has a long history in Brazilian music who has released five solo albums that have made their way across the world: "É isso aí" (2001), "Paula Lima" (2003), "Sinceramente" (2006), "Outro Esquema" (2011), and "O Samba é do Bem" (2014) – which was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award – as well as a timeless DVD acclaimed by critics and audiences alike, “Sambachic” (2008).

The singer’s trademark is her uniquely soulful swing. She has teamed up in the studio and onstage with Seu Jorge, Ed Motta, and Banda Black Rio, as well as the Japanese band Mondo Grosso on the track “Life,” which was released worldwide. She has also worked with Jorge Ben Jor, Elza Soares, Milton Nascimento, and Hamilton de Holanda, to name just a few.

She has toured across Japan playing to sold-out audiences. She has performed in Paris, Amsterdam, South Africa, Tunisia, and in Portugal, where she sang at the Lisbon edition of Rock in Rio. When Rock in Rio returned to Brazil in 2011, she sang for 35,000 people alongside Afrika Bambaataa.

2017 Paula Lima is ready to reach out even higher level into the broader world by releasing her newest project: The Best of Paula Lima album.
