Instituto Cubano de La Música
The Cuban Music Institute is the organization representing the more than 18.000 professional Cuban musicians and the Cuban music industry.
The Cuban Music Institute - ICM - counts in its own structure with 19 management agencies, covering all the provinces of the island. ICM organize every year the Cuban music fair and award CUBADISCO, also events such as Jazz Plaza International Festival, Guitar International Festival, Matamoros Son International Festival, Festival del Tambor among others. We also count with reseacrh (CIDMUC), recording / label (COLIBRI) and instrument manufacturing facilities (Fabrica Fernando Ortiz).
