In no time, Sally Folk developed a musical style all on her own, with a velvety, captivating sound. The singersongwriter’s authenticity shines through in everything she does. Significant encounters have helped her surround herself with excellent collaborators.

In July 2010, Sally Folk charmed the Quebec public for the first time on stage with two "one-hour" performances of her english debut album "Sally-and-me", at the 31st edition of the Festival international de Jazz de Montréal, on the Rio Tinto Alcan main stage in front of more than 10,000 spectators.

It was at that time she met Entourage Musique executives, who couldn’t get enough of her fierce vibe. Sally Folk and her new team quickly got to work on her first francophone album, which was launched in the fall of 2013.

In June 2013, Sally Folk released her first single, "Heureux infidèles". This song explores an unconventional conjugal relationship that is often taboo, even by today’s social standards. With vivid lyrics, she sings about a rarely explored theme from a woman’s perspective. The song topped the charts for several weeks, and was followed by a video that gained a lot of traction online.

In October 2013, Sally launched her first eponymous album in Montréal with great fanfare. Throughout this masterpiece, the signer-songwriter introduced the public to a wildly original musical experience! Critics were unanimous in their praise. That same month she released a second single, On dira aux autres, which received a great deal of airplay. In November, Sally Folk took the Montréal scene by storm with a big show at Club Soda to launch the new album and kick off her first tour across Quebec.

In February 2014, she simultaneously released two more singles, "C’est vrai" and "7 jours", allowing her to increase her fan base. Both songs became radio hits and "7 jours" was added to the Bell Centre song lineup played during Habs games.

In May 2014, Sally Folk was nominated for an "Emerging Artist of the Year (French) award" at the 2014 Sirius XM INDIES, and was nominated in two categories at the 2014 ADISQ Gala, "Discovery" and "Pop Album of the Year". She gave an outstanding performance of "Heureux infidèles" during Quebec’s music industry gala.

In February 2015, she released the first single off her second album, "Les heures de visite", which became an instant hit, flying to the top of the radio charts upon its release.

In March 2015, Sally Folk launched her sophomore album, "Deuxième Acte", followed by "3e Acte" 2 years later, which were both enthusiastically received by critics and fans alike. This second and third french albums cements her originality through poetic lyrics and catchy melodies.

Sally Folk’s talent gets noticed every time she graces the stage, winning over audiences with colourful performances and a unique sound—her star is definitely on the rise!

She is currently looking for new collaborators to have her music heard all over the world as she is working on her 5th and second english album planned to be lauched in 2019.
