Amistades Peligrosas achieving a natural fusion of the Galician bagpipes with other musical

NEW ALBUM
Anxo Lorenzo, internationally renowned piper, is preparing his new CD called Vórtex.
The album being slowly “cooked” in Galicia, Ireland and Scotland will have special
collaborations with famous musicians from the folk world and will continue down the
experimental acoustic route as in the previous albums Tirán and Confuxon. New
compositions and surprising arrangements where Anxo, once again, takes the Galician
bagpipes and whistles to their limit with his particular free-style on a quest for new sounds,
rhythms and fusions together with the fantastic Irish violinist Eoghan Neff.
Vórtex is Anxo Lorenzo’s 4thstudio album and will be released across the world at the end
of May. In June, the musician from Moaña, whose international tour will commence in
Galicia has already confirmed presentations in England, France, Ireland, Bélgium, Holland,
Scotland, Italy and South America.
In his new show, Anxo Lorenzo will be including some surprises and collaborations from his
Vortex album creating wondrous, magical and unique musical moments together with his
band.
