Javier Ruibal is composer, player guitar and writer of his texts. Born in the Puerto de Santa Maria, Cadiz. His music is a mix of flamenco, sefardi music, magrebi, jazz, rock, etc. on February 2007, he has received the Andalucia Medal in recognition of career.
Her art is the resoult of long time elaborating differents compositions incorporating several elements and influences from Jazz and Rock. Javier Ruibal is a writer of his texts, and here we can observe clearly the conection with the Spanish poetry (Genereration of 27, Rafael Alberti and Federico Garcia Lorca). Also he has compose for audiovisual proyect or another artists like Martirio, Joaquin Sabina o Pablo Milanes.
Her last work , Paraisos Mejores is the resoult of the maduration along of career that recently was rewarded with the Actual Music National Award. This proyect has connected to plenty of important artist from Spain, for example Jos'e Recacha, Manuel Machado, Federico Lechner, Victor Merlo, Diego Villegas, Faical Kourrich and other artist that colaborate in this amazing trip like Chico Cesar, Juan Luis Guerra and Feten Feten.
