MoKa Family

Moka Family Big Banda is a Swing ‘n’ Roll Symphonic band composed of 14 musicians from southern Italy. They aim to combine musical composition with philosophy through theatrical performances to let people discover new perspectives, to ask new questions or just enjoy themself and life.

Following a careful research and composition work, Moka Family Big Banda put on an amazing artistic project: “Crazy Park”.

The show “Crazy Park” is a bizarre modern myth and combines the sounds of the traditional bands of southern Italy with those of the American big bands.
Masterfully the american "walking" blends into the italian march and the essence of Swinging Jazz sound is enriched with the fascinating and engaging classical orchestral lines: 11 winds instruments take the place of guitar and double bass and together with 1 drums, 1 piano and 2 voices creates a innovative sound meeting between the Southern Italy and Big Band tones.
