Twenty years ago, a new chapter unfolded in the story of the Warsaw Village Band. Thanks to the arrival of our visionary producer and sound engineer Mario Activator who embarked on a mission to enrich our sound by wisting, blending, and intertwining the tradition with a fresh wave of influences from various genres. His goal?
To ensure that our music never becomes just a nostalgic echo of the past, but evolves into a vibrant, groovy force that honors our roots while boldly exploring new territories.
Electronic arpeggios, and deep bass, solid rhythmic foundation and a touch of electronics have infused our music with an entirely new energy.
So, what’s the next step in this musical journey? We’re thrilled to present our latest album, "Twines," where the Warsaw Village Band is joined by three incredible musicians, whom we fondly call Bassałyki.
This record is a dazzling fusion of British-Caribbean flair and our beloved traditional sound. It's a dynamic, groove-packed journey.
