Ivo Dimchev is a creator of experimental theatre, choreographer, visual artist, singer-songwriter, and queer activist from Bulgaria. Recipient of numerous international dance and theatre awards, founder and director of Bulgaria’s Humarts Foundation, he has been exploring the multi-disciplinary potential of his talents for over two decades, directing and choreographing more than 40 productions for esteemed arts festivals worldwide, alongside establishing performance spaces in Brussels and Sofia and conducting master classes at several European Art Academies, while composing over 100 original songs in the process. He is now conducting musical research, exploring the universe of sound to costume his multi-genre songs in a shimmering gown of dark poetry. Carnal, sweet, capricious, elegantly oscillating between rock star and prima donna, Ivo intends to rip out your heart and lick it before leading you onto the dance floor.
