We are proud to announce that Tsuumi Sound System, the export asset of Finnish folk music, is releasing a new album on January 13.
Concert in Stereo is the band's fifth album and their first Live album. It brings you on a journey through their concerts across Europe in the period 2018-2021.
The album includes all the hits the band is known for: Grown Up Roger, dedicated to Tsuumi Sound System’s former co-producer and Swedish guitar legend Roger Tallroth; Amazing Race, a favorite track from the latest Blinking Light album, and a live version of the ever-lovely wedding march The Aisle. The album's 17-track repertoire encompasses Tsuumi Sound System's production from 2007 until today.
With a maximum CD duration of 74 minutes, it's the band's first album recorded from live concerts. The album was mixed by the band's trusted live sound engineer Antti Puumalainen.
Over 15 years, Tsuumi Sound System has been captivating audiences from Scandinavia to the Mediterranean, and from the UK to the US. With a strong spirit of innovation and clean arrangements, the band is among Europe's most influential progressive folk ensemble. Their last four studio albums have received rave reviews.
The band will be touring the album in 2023, both in Finland and abroad.
The first official album release party will take place on the Folklandia 2023 cruise on Friday 13 January.
