August, 1 Music & Words celebrates its 25th birthday. It all started as a mail order company selling folk lp's, mainly Irish and British, but soon Scandinavian, French, Galician and lots of other european music was imported. When the cd became available other genres like blues and world were added to the roster. In 1990 the first own cd was released and now we are about to release our first lp's :)
To celebrate our birthday we will donate €2500 (25 x €100). Who will receive this amount? You can choose your own destiny soon on our website. The organisation voted the most for will receive the money......
