Charles King: Star of Champeta music. One of the artists who has most influenced the contemporary Colombian musical scene. His prolific work – over 300 songs recorded in studio – is heard throughout the country, and, today, sounds around the world.

Louis Towers: Champeta Giant (literally). He has taken his folklore to Belgium, France, Holland, Mexico, Venezuela and the United States, and has fans around the world. With a Fine Arts degree from the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de Cartagena de Indias, a professional painter, he is one of the artists who has gone a long way in the world of Champeta.

Viviano Torres (Anne Swing): Legend of the heroic city. One of the most respected musicians in the Colombian Caribbean. His music and lyrics sought to preserve not only the essence of the African legacy, but the language itself of palenque. Creator of the first Champeta band in history, Anne Swing which means “with a lot of flavor” in Spanish. He has imprinted a one-of-a-kind mark on Colombian music as an influence of artists, musicologists, critics and dancers.
